The Best Wings In Pittsburgh
Sidelines in Millvale opened in September of 2003, right before Millvale Days. We were so excited to open our own place, and we didn't realize that our long journey was just beginning. One of the best community events proved we were in the right place and we had the time of our lives, followed by many Halloween Parties, Thanksgiving Eve, Festivus, and New Years Eve celebrations. We won a Best Wings in Pittsburgh Contest and that just pushed us in motion. All our sauces are house made, and our wings are always fried to our strict specifications. Over the years the number of dry rubs and sauces has doubled as our wing popularity grew. Our award winning sauce, Ranch Buffalo, has been honored at the King of the Wing and many other contests.
Sidelines in Sewickley was our next location, opening in spring of 2012. What used to be Little Athens is now home to Sidelines Beer House. Sewickley as a community has embraced our uniqueness and shown us love for being such a small, local business. Always the underdog, our work ethic and tireless staff have proved to overcome many obstacles. Our goal has always been to provide a solid beer selection, full bar and diverse menu with good service and humble expectations.
Then came November 2015, and Sidelines expanded to East Liberty as The Fire Side Public House. We were so excited to expand to a new audience with a new concept, but it proved to be a very difficult test. After many trials and tribulations, we finally hit our stride. Then Covid happened and threw everything we knew up in the air.
Covid has really hit us hard at all of our locations, as it has interrupted a lot of lives and businesses. We won’t pretend that everything is fine and it is business as usual, but we continue to persevere. We are surviving, we have made it to the other side. We will continue to try to provide for our staff, just as we will continue to try to provide for our guests.
